Afghanistan Is A “Charlie Foxtrot” Operation!

As of today it is a “Political Dog An Pony Show” the rules of engagement are total “political correctness” run amok.

It’s pretty obvious the “military brute force” is not the path to a resolution or success in Afghanistan.  The people of Afghanistan must join in the effort or it will be a total exercise in futility.

Afghanistan is not a country as such, it is a political geographical area created by politicians.

That geographical area is pretty much is governed and ruled by tribal leaders and warlords.  The “central government” is yet another political fabrication.

The “Afghan Street” is pretty much clueless about all the political posturing and just want to live their lives such as they may be.

The Taliban seized power in Afghanistan and arrogantly and mistakenly supported the Al Qaeda 2001 operation against the USA.

Very justifiably the US removed them from power using military means and then started blundering around trying to figure out what to do with the supposed Afghanistan that they inherited by default as the victors.

An “Afghanistan Government” was cobbled together with obvious intent of not being occupiers but protectors.

A central government is a foreign concept to the “Afghan Street” and pretty much ignored in real life.

Afghanistan is Afghanistan!  Political hacks and elitists have no clue.  Taming and guiding may be a valid approach but nation building is an exercise in futility.

We should protect the purported “Afghanistan Government” and respond to serious requests from the “Afghan Street” for assistance and help.  End of story.
