It’s a start for a wide ranging search for an accepted definition.

Let’s take a snippet and try to run with it:

“...moral codes, practices, values, institutions and rituals associated with such belief.”

In the near past, we can identify various fun groups that are seldom considered to be religions but belong in the bucket: Communist, Facist, Marxist, Nazi, Progressive and Socialist.

Wait a minute you yell, “Progressives have nothin to do Communists, Facists, Marxists, Nazis or Socialists.”

To bad, you need to do some research....

All of the above apply in some percentage to the Progressives.

Also most of them when reviewed closely can be considered to be ‘cults’ and considered to be ‘religions’ because of the way they practiced their political system.

Progressives by definition are ‘far left socialists’.

Long ago ‘socialism’ was recognized as a closet religion and ‘socialists’ subscribe to socialism.

It’s no big deal to Progressives, but non-Progressives deserve to know where they stand, but the MSM refuses to admit or acknowledge where they are coming from.

Socialism is pushed and advocated by Progressives all through our political and social system, but somehow they forget to mention that socialism is a religion?

There is nothing wrong with being a socialist, but pretending you aren’t raises another issue.

Most, if not all Conservatives announce and are comfortable with their identity.

Why do Progressives continue to try to conceal or disguise their identity and religious affiliation?
